Your Next Dose Of TMI Tag – Questions 16-30

Good morning lovelies,

If you’re like me, then you’ve missed all of the fun of TMI Tuesday lately. Well, have no fear! I found 100 Ridiculous TMI Tag Questions just for you! Obviously, 100 in one post would be super long but I thought I would answer the next 15 for now to give you something to read and to fill your thirst for interesting answers. If you want to skip back and read the first 15 as well, you can find them here.

Are you ready?

1. To your knowledge, have you ever been cheated on?

Unfortunately, yes. My first boyfriend cheated on me three times (hence, my three-time rule) and I’ve also had an incident with Mr Wolfie. We talked about that though, and though he knows he won’t get any special treatment, that is now behind us.

2. Have you ever been in a physical fight?

My words are my ultimate weapon, what do I need my fists for? I was taught to cause all kinds of internal carnage with the words I speak, so unless I’m in a life or death situation, no, I don’t fight. Ladies don’t fight, women do. I play rough sometimes, but that’s a whole different kettle of fish.

3. Have you ever been in a relationship?

Is that what this is? I thought it was some sort of acquisition that I’d lost the receipt for. I joke of course, I love him really.

4. Have you ever been in love?

Gees, after thirteen years, I sure hope so! Love is such a funny thing though because it’s nothing like you see in the movies. As I defined it once to my Mum, “love is like having a best friend that you don’t mind kissing”. I never thought of Mr Wolfie as my boyfriend, he was always like my best, best friend that knew me better than anyone else and who I didn’t mind seeing me ever on my worst-ever days. In fact, I even liked it when he did because he always made them all better.

Funny story, I remember a time I was having a really tough few weeks with my anxiety and Mr Wolfie was supposed to be visiting, but he said he was confused about the plan so he was on his way home, and I, being the fool that I can be, believed him. I was kind of angry so I decided to put my most unsexy pyjamas on, brush my teeth and relax in my lounge with some back to back cop shows, no harm done. I got down from the bathroom and opened the door to my lounge thinking absolutely nothing of it, as you do. All of a sudden, my beloved decided to leap out from behind the sofa, very nearly causing me to require a change of pyjamas and a late night shower just before that. It did brighten my mood though, at least that was once I was done calling him every name under the sun and vowing to bring about his early demise. Turns out, he sensed from my texts that I wasn’t in a good place and he wanted to cheer me up, and that was also when he went and got the bar of chocolate that he’d sneaked into my fridge. You don’t get much better than that.

5. Have you ever been loved by someone you didn’t love back?

Urk, yes, G. He was besotted with me and makes my whole family feel ill. It makes a strong man to handle me honestly, and I would have run circles around him. I can be very argumentative (yeah, I admit, I’m hooked on the adrenaline) so without a man to challenge me and give me some boundaries to work with, I would have done as I pleased. He was very submissive and I wanted and perhaps even needed to submit. I would have been bad for him and his relationship with women because I would have had a venturing eye. First whiff of a dominant man and I would have been gone.

6. Have you ever loved someone that didn’t love you back?

Yep, Jack. Jack was my GCSE chemistry partner and my reason for staying in that damn class. Jack was half Spanish and I was smitten. I can never forget one break time, I was lounging on one of the couches on the college campus and Jack came up and leaned on the back of the sofa to talk to me. We partnered on everything together and we started hanging out at home together, too. We were pretty much dating, honestly, but I don’t think Jack realised what was going on because to him, we were just friends. Jack had a motorcycle and thick curly hair, he was cheeky and I was done for – independent, smart and cheeky, I needed him. My notebook was full of hearts with ‘JB’ in them (he even saw them once and I brushed them off as someone else!). Anyway, one year I was all set to go on a 10-day camping rally so I decided to take it upon myself to formally ask him out before I went, looking forward to starting a proper boyfriend-girlfriend relationship when I got back. Just before I turned to get on my bus, I asked him if we could make our friendship “something more” when I return and he said “I don’t think so, no”. Our friendship was never the same after that and he stopped speaking to me at all soon after. Ouch!

7. Have you ever been betrayed by someone you care about?

Unfortunately, yes, Mr Wolfie. Again though, what’s done is done and doesn’t need to be written about here. We healed wounds and moved on, and that’s what really matters.

8. Have you ever catfished anyone?

Haha, maybe. So it goes, it was late at night, Mr Wolfie was already asleep and this guy was being super creepy on Whisper. Now. I’m normally 100% genuine and if my chat partner asks for a face pic, I’ll send them one. I have nothing to hide, okay? Anyway, this guy was asking for boob photos and all and even when I said no, he still insisted, but was also doing it in that I’m-not-really-asking-but-I-totally-am way. In the end, I got so fed up that I just went onto incognito mode, downloaded a bunch of indecent photos, cropped them and sent them. I worked him up to a fever pitch.. and then did what I normally do and I blocked him. Porn is there for your entertainment so in a roundabout way, I was just redirecting him. That’s my excuse.

Hey, I slept well, even if he didn’t!

9. Have you ever cried over a lover?

Possibly, I mean I’ve had my heart broken a few times and you kind of do cry when that happens. Time has made me more resilient though, so these days I just see it as their loss. Even if something were to happen to Wolfie and me (and hopefully it won’t!), I just see it that I probably will heal and move on with time. Life is too short to be sad forever.

10. Have you ever danced without leaving room for Jesus?

It’s what I do, baby.

11. Have you ever dated someone you met online?

Yeah, a bunch of guys. No, that sounds bad. Dated does not mean kissed or slept with, okay? Dated at least seven, kissed two, slept with none. Just because I met them and went some place or had dinner with them does not mean that anything happened. More often than not, they tried and I wouldn’t. I might be quite open, but I’m far from easy.

12. Have you ever given or received a hickey?

Both. It sounds cliché, but it’s important to mark your territory.

13. Have you ever had a crush on a teacher?

Oof, yes. He was tanned with deep brown eyes, a dazzling smile and short black hair. Okay, basically think Wentworth Miller with brown eyes in a pinstripe suit, getting that image? He was something else and I even signed up to science club to see more of him. Turns out though, he was actually a bit of a dick after class and I consequently left soon after. I think it was at that point I come to understand that nice looking doesn’t always make for kind-hearted.

Oh, and there was my maths teacher. He was a ginger guy with acne and glasses who somehow was also the first person to willingly get me to address them as “Sir”, those were some very confusing times indeed.

14. Have you ever kissed a non-family member on the lips?

I get more perturbed when a family member tries to kiss me on the lips at my age, I’m 32. Kissed a non-family member would be a sure understatement by now though, let’s just say that.

15. Have you ever kissed for more than two hours consecutively?

Two hours?! I mean, is that even possible? No, honestly, I would get bored. Kissing is nice, but I’ve been guilty of kissing leading to an escalation on more than one occasion. Five minutes of kissing, 25 minutes for the inevitable and an hour for the post-coital nap afterwards. Sounds oh so much better, doesn’t it?

Enjoy your Tuesday!

Be Bold, Be Bright, Be Beautiful,
